Laid back. Broadly liturgical. Kid friendly. A little bit of funk. Welcoming to all. Serious about God, but not too serious about ourselves.
These are all descriptions of who we are and how we worship each Sunday. And that is seen in the many areas of diversity that we enjoy…ethnically, socio-economically, age, and faith background. So, no matter where you are at in your faith journey, you will hopefully find All Souls to be a uniquely welcoming place.
In terms of what to wear… you can honesly where whatever you are comfortable wearing. We have some folks who like to where their “Sunday best”, and we have others who would never think of coming to church in anything but jeans and a t-shirt. We don’t care. How you dress is up to you.
For you parents… we have a nursery for children 3 and under that you can use from the very beginning of our service. For all children Pre-K through 5th Grade, we encourage our kids to stay in the worship service until the sermon. At that point, we offer age-appropriate classes for all the children.
How long is our service? For those looking to plan the rest of the day, you can know that our service tends to run between 60-75 minutes. The only exception to that is when we are taking up a special offering for the pastors and we lock the back doors until we reach our goal. Or not.
