Sunday Service: 10:00am

We are far more broken than we are ready to admit, while in Christ, we are loved more deeply than we could possibly imagine.

The Healing Power of Grace

In this way, the gospel is like a mirror, showing us two simultaneous, opposite realities at the very same time. Biblical counseling, therefore, is aimed at affirming both realities, even while we seek to apply the healing power of grace to what is broken.

Redeemer Counseling Services has opened a satellite location at All Souls, with Ellen Lee and Lorraine Schaefers serving as the counselors for our site. We have no doubt that all who make use of this fantastic resource will be blessed.

Ellen Lee, LMHC

Ellen Lee holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies from Cornell University. She also has an advanced certificate in biblical counseling from the Christian Counseling Educational Foundation. Ellen is licensed in New York State as a Mental Health Counselor. She is bilingual (Korean) and bicultural. She works with individuals, couples and families with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, self-image, and premarital and marital counseling. She has many years of experience teaching “How People Change” and “Helping Others Change.” Ellen enjoys traveling, reading, classical music, good food and spending time with friends and family.

Lorraine Schaefers, LMFT

Lorraine Schaefers holds an undergraduate degree from Lesley College and a master’s in marriage and family therapy from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. She is licensed by the state of New York as a marriage and family therapist. She counsels with individuals, couples and adolescents on a large variety of areas including anxiety, depression, self-image, relationship struggles and more.
